[PART 3] Jay Park “My current aim is to pay back my fans’ love with a good song.”

Q: Do you also want to do some acting?

Jay: I want to do it. I want to play a funny character… like in sitcoms. But I think I need more practice. When I monitor , I feel it doesn’t come out as good as I wish. Even when I think I made some facial expression!s, it doesn’t necessarily look like I did.

Q: How’s the movie shoot going with ?

Jay: There’s not as much dancing as I expected. (laugh) The only dancing scenes are during the dance battles. The rest is about just fighting and yelling at younger brothers. (laugh)

Q: You’ve been recently appointed as an honorary ambassador of KOSAD. Do you want to participate in those social activities in addition to the activities as a singer?

Jay: Of course. I like it. I’ll enjoy very much doing those activities with the people I like, such as my family, friends and fans.

Q: Do you have goals as a musician?

Jay: I’m not sure. I don’t have any specific goal. My current aim is to pay back my fans in any way I can, and for that I will try hard to perform for them on many stages with good songs.

Q: Which musician is your role model?

Jay: Michael Jackson. (laugh) Because he’s the best.

Q: What do you want to do in the future?

Jay: I always wanted to be in the position where I can help my parents and friends. But right now I want to reach the position where I can help even many more people, fans or other people in hardship. I wish many people act together with me. It will make a better world if people help each other.

Q: Please, say something for your fans.

Jay: It’s all thanks to you whatever opportunities I get in the future. It’s not because I do well or because I am a great person. It’s all thanks to you. I really… cannot put everything into words how thankful I am. I’ll make sure to pay you back.
